The Kingston community is coming together this spring for a joyful, family-friendly celebration with a lasting impact. The Spring Fest & Bubble Run, taking place on April 18, will raise funds for the creation of a new children’s town park, a longawaited project made possible by the generous donation of land to the town.
The event is being organized with the support of thePlaceMakingCommittee, whose mission is to create welcoming spaces that bring people together. Proceeds from the festival will go directly toward building a safe, fun, andinclusiveparkwhere local children and families can play, gather and grow for generations to come.
Spring Fest & Bubble Run will feature activities for all ages – 5K and 1 Mile Run/ Walk ending with a foam party, $10 BBQ sandwich/ chips/drink locally smoked, bounce house, pictures with Stitch, obstacle course, cotton candy, face paint, vendor booths, food trucks and more will help to create a colorful, laughterfilled experience that kids and adults alike will enjoy. Organizers hope the event will not only raise funds but also strengthen community pride and involvement.
“This park represents an investment in our children and in the future of our town,” organizers said. “Spring Fest is our chance to come together, have fun, and build something meaningful together.”
