By Shellie Blakely Hope everyone is safe after the ice storm. It wasn't any fun for any of us.
However, it did show some of the things I love about our little comuunity. Wonderful to see all the neighbors help either each out.
Just a quick reminder the Volunteer Fire Fighters road side cleanup is on Saturday March 7 starting at 8 a.m..
The Cookie and Craft Market sale is March 28 from 9 a.m. till 4 p.m. Tables are $20 each. please contact Crystal Tatum at 214-460-3345.
Ladies, our next Auxiliary meeting will be Monday February 16 at 1 p.m. with fellowship at 1 p.m. prior to the meeting. Don't forget on March 7 the firefighters will have their Roadside Clean-Up beging at 8 a.m.
The exercise/stretching classes are every Monday and Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. Card games are held on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month at 12:00 p.m.
For anyone needing to rent the Texoma Community Center building for a party or family gathering place contact Judy Jeffreys at 405-684-1636. Calls are monitored twice a week so please allow plenty of time for your event.
The cost is $75 per day and can only be rented by members of the Fire District. The building capacity is 158.
