The fifth ranked Kingston Lady Redskin cross country team prepped for the upcoming Class 3A regional with a fourth place team showing in the always rugged Lake Country Conference Meet last weekend.
Kingston was led by junior Daisy Avery, who clocked in at 12 minutes, 32.34 seconds for a sixth place medalist finish.
Four other Lady Redskins were bunched together as freshman Layla Thompson posted a 21st place mark of 13:44.62. Avery Ludrick checked in 23rd in 13:49.93, Olivia McAlister was 24th at 13:53.56 and Addie Cole added a 26th with a time of 13:55.80.
Rylee Davis posted a 14:45.72 for 38th place and Kizzie Wood was 52nd in 16:57.76.
The Redskins had four individual competitors but didn’t place in the team standings.
JuniorLanderBurkhalter was the catalyst of the group with a time of 18:52.24 for 32nd place.
The freshman duo of Evrett Eason and Chet Nix were 37th and 56th respectively with times of 19:16.30 and 20:44.33. Andrew Cantrellroundedthings out in 84th at 26:45.83.
Kingston travels all the way to Enid for the Class 3A Regional Meet at Oklahoma Bible Academy on Saturday.
