Fugitive captured

On July 24, The Madill Record reported about a fugitive who was wanted for Shooting with the Intent to Kill and Possession of a Firearm After the Formal Conviction of a Felony. Anthony Harrell, a 50-year-old male from Lebanon, took off after allegedly shooting somebody in the leg.

The Marshall County Sheriffs Office, along with other agencies, were actively looking for Harrell. On July 29, somebody called MCSO and told them that Harrell was at his residence.

Officers went to Harrell's residence and set up a perimeter aroundtheresidenceand called for Harrell to exit the residence. Harrell complied, exited and house and was arrested without further incident.

According to court records, Harrell has multiple priors. They are for Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon, Falsely Personating Another to Create Liability, Driving Under Suspension, Possession of CDS, DUI and Eluding.
