FCCLA members attend conference

The 2025 FCCLA National LeadershipConference (NLC) took place in Orlando, Fla., from July 5–9, 2025, drawing more than 10,000 students, educators, and guestsfromacrossthenation.

This gathering provided a valuable platform for attendees to expand their leadership skills, sharpen their talents, explore career pathways, and listen to inspiring speakers. The National LeadershipConference brought together thousands of student leaders from across the country to compete in Students Taking Action with Recognition (STAR) Events, elect the 2025–2026 National Executive Council, attend leadership workshops,andnetwork withotherFCCLAmembers.

Ella Weaver represented Oklahoma in the Chapter Service Project event and achieved a remarkable silver medal in recognition of her outstanding performance.

Avery Ludrick served as one of the 14 Oklahoma voting delegates who helped select candidates for the newly elected National Officer Team.

Kooper Walker, Oklahoma’s First Vice President, led meetings as a state officer, served as a voting delegate, and cast the official vote for the state of Oklahoma.

Ava Reno attended her first NLC.

The National Leadership Conference provided these KHS students with a dynamic experience that strengthened leadership skills, built career readiness, and encouraged meaningful connections with peers nationwide. Through competitive events, workshops, and networking opportunities, they gained valuable insight into future career paths and the power of youth-led impact.

Avery, Ava, Ella, and Kooper all look forward to applying these experiences to future leadership roles, continued involvement in FCCLA,andcreatingpositive change in their school and community.
