Madill, Okla. - Madill Animal Shelter is proud to announce the installation of a public-use microchip scanner at Madill City Hall, providing local residents with a simple, effective tool to help reunite lost pets with their families.
This scanner is part of a growing community-wide effort to address the increasing stray animal population in Marshall County. The public is now encouraged to bring found pets to City Hall to check for a microchip—an important first step in getting animals home safely and quickly.
This project was made possible in part thanks to the generous support of Best Friends Animal Society, whose donation of additional microchip scanners helped expand our network of scanning locations across the county. Their partnership is a vital part of this initiative, helping us provide better tools and faster reunification options for pet lovers in our community.

• Coming Soon: Microchip Marshall County Madill Animal Shelter is also preparing to launch a new outreach initiative partnering with Kingston Animal Control as well As Southern Oklahoma Animal Resources: 'Microchip Marshall County'.Thisupcoming program will provide accessible microchipping events across the region, educate the public on pet identification, and encourage local rescues and fosters to get involved.
