– BancFirst Tishomingo President Jenny Rosenfelt announced SherriOwens,Banc-First Tishomingo’s Branch Manager, would retire from BancFirst on June 2, 2025. She retires with over 40 years in banking.
Owens started her banking career in 1982 as a bookkeeper at Bryan County NationalBankinCaddo,OK. She also served as drive-thru teller, lobby teller, new accounts, and loan documentation before she joined Banc-First as a customer service representative in 1994. Since then, Owens was promoted to BancFirst Officer, Loan Administration Supervisor, Loan Officer, Vice President, and Branch Manager.
“We will never find another Sherri,” remarked Rosenfelt. “She is the premier example of BancFirst’s slogan, ‘Loyal to Oklahoma and Loyal to You.’ She is going to be greatly missed by her customers and co-workers at BancFirst!”
“I have met and worked with many people during my career and consider myself very blessed by their friendships,” said Owens. “I will miss seeing my co-workers and customers every day, but I’m excited to have more time fortraveladventureswithmy husband, following by grandkids to all of their events, and just enjoying life.”
