Madill had a pair of state placers and Kingston tallied one in the Oklahoma State Powerlifting Championships held last weekend in El Reno.
Competing in Class 4A, Madill’s two placers came in the 157-pound division as Chris Ramirez claimed sixth and Angel Ibarra added an eighth-place mark.
Ramirez had the top squat lift in Class 4A, posting 465 pounds, while adding 225 on bench and 440 in deadlift for his 1,130 pounds in total. Ibarracompiled1,115pounds as he scored 435 pounds on squat, 225 in bench and 455 on the deadlift.
Kingston’s points came in the 123-pound division of Class 2A where Jack Martin placed eighth overall with his three-lift tally of 825 pounds. Martin had the second-best squat mark in his class with 325poundswhilealsopicking up 170 on bench and 330 in deadlift.
