Kooper Walker, a dedicated and driven member of the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA), has been officially named a candidate for the position of President on the Oklahoma FCCLA State Officer ballot. This achievement marks a significant milestone in Kooper's leadership journey, reflecting his commitment to serving fellow students and advancing the mission of FCCLA across the state.
As a passionate advocate for youth leadership and community service, Kooper has been actively involved in FCCLA for the past 3 years, undertaking a variety of roles on local, state and national levels. His hard work, dedication, and vision for the future of FCCLA have earned him a well-deserved spot on the state officer ballot.
“Students were interviewed, tested over FCCLA facts, and presented a one-minute speech within their region,” said Brittani Phillips, state FCCLA advisor. “Sixteen students were chosen from the second round of interviews and will have their names on the final ballot. Election results will be announced during the upcoming Oklahoma FCCLA State Leadership Conference held on April 10th at Cox Convention Center in Tulsa.”
'I am incredibly honored to be a candidate for the position of President,' said Kooper Walker. 'FCCLA has provided me with invaluable experiences, and I am eager to bring my ideas to the table and work alongside my peers to continue building a stronger, more connected organization for students across Oklahoma.'
Throughout his time in FCCLA, Kooper has demonstrated exemplary leadership skills, a passion for empowering others, and a strong dedication to the values of family, career, and community. He aims to work with other state officers to create new opportunities for personal growth, leadership development, and service to the community.
Kooper is the son of Billy Boband Jo Gayle Walker. He is a sophomore at Kingston High School, and his FCCLA advisor is Heather Henson.
