Kingston boys took third andthegirlsfinishedsecond in team standings at the Tishomingo Powerlifting Invitational last week.
The Redskins tallied 115 points in the boys division, checking in only behind Latta and host Tishomingo in the team standings.
On the girls’ side, the Lady Redskins rolled up major points in the lower weight divisions to accumulate 108 points, only finishing behind Latta.
A large amount of the scoring total for the girls came in the 108-pound classification as Ava Reno ended third individually with a three-lift total of 435 pounds, notching a 180 on squat, 75 in bench and 180 ondeadlift.DaisyAverywas just behind in fourth, tallying a total of 430 pounds (145 squat, 90 bench, 195 deadlift).
There were three Kingston placers at 121 pounds led by Bailey Reagan’s fourth place total of 290 pounds (185 squat, 105 bench)astherewasnodeadlift scored. Addi Cole ended eighth at 265 total pounds (160 squat, 105 bench) with Kayley Corbell checking in 10th with 170 pounds (95 squat, 75 bench).
In the 136-pound category, Hannah Uhlenhake notched a strong second place total of 560 pounds that included a 200 in squat, 110 on bench and 250 in deadlift.
Rae-Ann Best was also second in the 150-pound division, racking up a total weight of 540 pounds with a 230 on squat, 90 in bench and 220 on deadlift.
The final Lady Redskins placers came at 165 pounds, topped by Ella Weaver with a sixth place mark of 525 pounds (215 squat, 115 bench, 195 deadlift). Joshlyn O’Steen chipped in a seventh-place mark of 455 pounds (145 squat, 95 bench, 215 deadlift).
Kingston’s boys notched points in six of the 11 weight classes on the way to the third-place effort.
Five slots in the Top 10 at 123 pounds belonged to the Redskins with Hayden Gravitt the top Kingston performer as he took home third with a total of 725 pounds (250 squat, 190 bench, 285 deadlift).
Cooper England checked in fourth with a combination of 665 pounds (245 squat, 135 bench, 285 deadlift), Dray Watkins was sixth at 640 pounds (235 squat, 120 bench, 285 deadlift), Daniel Wiggs took eighth with a three-lift total of 510 pounds (185 squat, 120 bench, 205 deadlift) and LuisSanchezendedninthat 465totalpounds(185squat, 95 bench, 185 deadlift).
Another big scoring weight division was 132 pounds where Kingston’s Jak Martin recorded a second-place tally of 485 pounds with just the squat of 315 and bench mark of 170 pounds.
Kruz Harjo checked in sixth at 455 pounds (265 squat, 190 bench) as Jonathan Endicott was one slot behind at 390 pounds (245 squat, 145 bench).
Blake Wise was the lone Redskin scorer at 157 pounds, taking fifth place withacombined935pounds (345 squat, 205 bench, 385 deadlift).
At 168 pounds, Jamie Lewis was eighth place at a combined 905 pounds (350 squat, 225 bench, 330 deadlift).
Rounding out the Kingston placers was Kooper Walker at 275 pounds as he compiled an impressive total of 1,280 pounds (500 squat, 315 bench, 465 deadlift).
