Bullying gone bad

An 11-yeare-old girl from Gainesville, Texas took her life after being bullied at school.JocelynRojoCarranza was a sixt-grader at Gainesville Intermediate School and was allegedly subject to relentless bullying about her family's immigration status.

Marbella Carranza, Jocelyn's mother, said that Jocelyn ws repeatedly harassed by her classmates. Allegedly, they taunted her and threatened to call Immigrations and Customs Enforcement to deport her family. Marbella alleges that the bullying was so severe that Jocelyn reported it to the school officials and nothing was done to stop it.

On February 3, Jocelyn was rushed to an intensive care unit in Dallas after she made the devastating decision. Unfortunately, she passed away five days later.

As of print, the Gainesville ISD has yet to release a statement regarding Jocelyn's death.
