As the school year unfolds, Madill High School is filled with energy and anticipation, especially for seniors like Ruby Ibarra. A talented student involved in both band and soccer, Ibarra has spent her entire life in Madill Schools, making the most of every experience along the way.

“I will forever be grateful for everything you have done for me,” she said. “Te amo mucho.”
At Madill High, Ibarra has immersed herself in a variety of activities. She is an active member of the school band and a passionate soccer player.
These extracurriculars haveenrichedherhighschool experience and provided her with treasured memories. She said one of her favorite momentsfromschoolisbeing asked out after the sophomore homecoming parade. She also recalled another fondmemoryfromband. The thrill of “jumping the track line during a football game.”
Ibarra expressed her appreciation for her band directors.
“Thank you for being so silly and making my high school experience amazing.”
She said their guidance and encouragement have greatlyinfluencedhergrowth as a musician and individual.
As she looks ahead, Ibarra said she has clear aspirations for her future. She plans to become a dental assistant. Shesaidthisambitionwasinspired by her aunt Elizabeth, who has been a significant role model in her life.
Ibarra also recognized the impact of her band director, Mr. Hasty, who has inspired her musical journey. His mentorship has helped her develop into the dedicated musician she is today.
