Madill will soon have a new market for residents to buy fresh pecan products. The new Savage Fresh Market will open on Monday December 2. The market, which is owned by the Savage Equipment Company, will be located inside the building north of the equipment manufacturing warehouse at 1020 North Industrial Road in Madill.
The Savage Fresh Market will house a variety of orchard-fresh pecan options for purchase by the pound, easily meeting the desires of all their customers. They will have many different products made from pecans, as well. They will have items such as granny’s pecan pies, chocolate covered pecans, candied pecans in decorative gift tins and pecan oil that is great for cooking.
They will also have locally canned jams, preserves and jellies from Oklahoma and Texas. Locally made honey, salsa, syrups, BBQ rubs, jerky and many more mouthwatering treats are also expected to make their debut.
