Volunteers would have to be a paid member of the Texoma Fire District and be available for meetings that occur on the first Thursday of every month at 6:30 p.m. at the Auxiliary building. The Texoma Fire District Board of Directors meets the first Thursday of the Month at the Training/Community Center located at 10978 Parkview at 6:30 pm. The next meeting will be on October 3, 2024.
The Exercise/Stretching classes are on Monday and Wednesday at 10 a.m. Cards/ Games are on the second and fourth Tuesday at 12 p.m. Auxiliary members are welcome to join in.
For anyone interested in renting the Texoma Community Building, Contact Gayla Freeman at 580-565-1400. Return calls might be delayed as this is the Auxiliary phone and it is being monitored on a twice a week basis. So please give plenty of heads-up time. The cost is $75 per day. The building can only be rented by a member of the Texoma Fire District. Be advised, the capacity of the auxiliary building is 158.
The Lighthouse Methodist Churchlocatedat4923Alberta Creek Road provides an evening meal from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Lighthouse Kids Program for grade school children consisting of Bible stories, crafts and games is held each Wednesday 6 p.m. to 7p.m. following the meal.
