Harita Bea Grimplin, 74, of Euless, Texas passed away on Wednesday, Sept 18, 2024, in Grapevine Texas. She was born on May 24, 1950, in Ardmore, Okla. to the late Harry Begg Cheadle and Mary Frances Thomas Cheadle.
Harita was raised in Madill where she graduated from Madill High School in 1969 and worked at the Madill Schools until retirement. As a young woman, she also lived in Germany. She was a member of the White’s Chapel First Methodist Church in Southlake, Texas.
Harita was a wonderful daughter, mother and grandmother with a kind demeanor and a warm smile who was immensely proud of her two daughters and granddaughter. Out of all her titles, her favorite was “Nana”. She loved spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter, Madison, who was the apple of her eye. She loved watching Madison in all her extracurricular activities, but her favorite was watching Maddy Ice Skate. Harita also loved traveling, Disney, and her pastime hobby was football. Her extreme love for football started at an early age since her daddy was a football coach.
Harita was preceded in death by her grandparents, L.D. and Gracie Lee Thomas; parents, Harry and Mary Cheadle; daughter, Mary Grimplin-Zoltek.
Harita is survived by her daughter, Mandy Grimplin and partner Tim Mason of Euless, Texas; granddaughter, Madison Mason of Euless, Texas and son-in-law, Stephen Zoltek of Euless, Texas.
Graveside service will be Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at the Tishomingo Cemetery in Tishomingo, Okla. Joe Patterson will officiate the service. Services will be under the direction of Watts Funeral Home in Madill, Okla. Condolences may be sent to wattsfuneralhome.com.
