On August 30, several members of the community are coming together to do a fundraiser for HFMC food pantry/Hope for Marshall County before the big Marshall County Super Bowl. They will be providing a Mexican pile on meal, dessert and a drink from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Madill Wildcat Den.
Guests are invited to put on their favorite team shirt, get ready for the big rivalry and stop by the Wildcat Den for a great meal without having to worry about cooking. The Wildcat Den is located at Madill High School behind the old gym. The meal is by donation only and guests can eat there or take their meal to go.
The ladies putting on this fundraiser are also doing it as a Madill vs Kingston challenge and will have a Wildcat donation jar or a Redskin donation jar. Winner of the donation challenge will be announced at halftime of the game.
HFMC/Hope has been a vital part of the community for years providing all types of assistance to those needing a hand up in the community. The need is great, but donations are down and the ladies putting on the fundraiser are asking everyone to come out andhelpmakeadifferencefor others by supporting HFMC/ HOPE.
For anybody wishing to donate, but can’t make the dinner, donations can also be made online by using the organizations PayPal, hfmcpantry@yahoo.com, or Cashapp, $hfmcpantry. HFMC food pantry is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and they can provide tax receipts through email, in person and will have them at the fundraiser.
Yellowstone Shaved Ice donated the drinks and the Madill administrators, along with Coach Chad Speer, donated the use of the facility.
