Madill’s Cub Scout Pack, Pack 121, will be holding a come-and-go signup event in the family building of the Madill Church of Christ at the corner of Fourth and Lillie on Monday, August 26, from 6-7 p.m. Boys and girls between kindergarten and 5th grade can sign up for Cub Scouts.
The Pack will generally meet at the same location every Mondaynightat6:00p.m. throughout the school year. Scouting volunteers and an Arbuckle Area Council representative will be present at theeventtoanswerquestions and assist with signing up.
Representatives from Troop 10, Marshall County’s Scouts BSA Troop will also be there, and boys 6th grade and up can sign up to join the Troop. Troop 10 meets on Monday nights as well, at 7:00 p.m. at the Madill United Methodist Church. Girls in the same age group are also welcome to sign up forScouting,andwillbegiven information on how they can participate.
Additionally, for those living in the Kingston area, there will be a signup event incomingweeksforPack126, Kingston’s Cub Scout Pack.

Along with her husband, local Scoutmaster Michael Haggerty, and their three sons, the family has been involved with Scouting since 2009. Two of the younger Haggertys achieved the rank of Eagle Scout, after beginning as Cub Scouts.
