Ella Weaver spent a large portion of her summer break showing horses on a world class level. Her competition began at the Pinto World Championship (PWC) held June 10 through June 22 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the Tulsa Fairgrounds, where she exhibited three horses with much success.
Weaver won her second personal world champion title and buckle riding What A Chocolatey in the 11-18 Walk/Trot Disciplined Rail Western Solid class. This team also won a Reserve World Championship in Western Showmanship and had an additional three finishes in the Top Ten.
Weaver’s run on Colored With Class earned the pair a Reserve World Championship title and buckle in 11-18 Walk/Trot Trail.
She and her horse, Lucky I’m Colorful, also completed in the 11-18 Walk/Trot division, winning a Reserve World Championship title and buckle in Western Showmanship andearningTopfive placings in English Pleasure, Disciplined Rail English, and English Equitation.
As an added bonus, Weaver was honored to have led Lucky I’m Colorful and Colored With Class to each of their first world titles.
Weaver and Colored With Class then traveled to the historic Norick Area in Oklahoma City where they competedintheWorldChampionship Appaloosa Youth ShowJune26throughJuly2. They competed in the Novice 13 & Under and 13 & Under Divisions. Their success continued with a combined overall performancethatincluded six world title trophies, four NSBA trophies, three Top Three finishes, four Top Five finishes and four Top Ten finishes. Weaver was named World Champion in 13 & Under English Equitation and Reserve World Champion in 13 & Under Hunter Under Saddle, Horsemanship, and Trail.
She was also named Reserve WorldChampioninthe Noivce 13 & Under Division in Hunter Under Saddle and Trail. This team ended the show as High Point Youth 13 & Under and was awarded a Harris saddle and Appaloosa Youth Association buckle.
Ella Weaver is a student atKingstonHighSchool. She rides under the instruction of CourtneyCruseShowHorses and competes in the All-Around Performance events.
