As a chef, it hurts my feelings to see a really good restaurant go to waste, and I was worried when Hobo Joe's was forced to close their Denison, Texas location due to construction woes. Fortunately for this location, this was not the case.
The location received a small facelift and a huge menuoverhaul.ThaiNSushi moved in, and I must tell you, this is going to be one of my favorite spots to visit regularly.
We went by there for their softopening,Iwasimpressed. It is all you can eat, and customers order from an exclusive menu selection which included everything from rice and noodle dishes to various curry and a very large selection of hand-crafted sushi rolls.
We tried so many amazing dishes that’s it is hard to describe them all, so I will make a few suggestions to get you on the path. The Devil’s eyes is an appetizer that is a deep-fried jalapeno with crawfish salad and Kani salad. It is very easy to eat several orders.
Myotherrecommendation is the Sumo Roll. It consists of shrimp tempura, lobster salad, avocado and is topped with seared filet mignon, scallion and truffle oil. Hope you find your way out to Thai N Sushi.
