Statewide election activity officially begins at 8 a.m. Wednesday, April 3, 2024, when the candidate filing period opens.
Candidates for state offices file with the Secretary of the State Election Board. Candidates for county offices file with the Secretary of the County Election Board.
The offices that are expected to be filled are the Marshall County Sheriff, County Clerk, County Court Clerk and County Commissioner District Two. All positions serve four-year terms.
Filing forms and information for county offices may be obtained by contacting the Marshall County Election Board at 580-795-5460 or marshallcounty@elections. ok.gov.TheMarshallCounty Election Board is located at 100 Plaza Suite 301, Madill, Okla. and is open from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Filing packets for all offices are also available for download on the State Election Board’s website at oklahoma.gov/elections.
The filing period closes at 5 p.m. Friday, April 5, 2024.
