What a Summer. Hot, Hot and Hot.
There seems to be a glimmer of hope for some cooler weather around the corner. The days are beginning to get shorter, and this Sunday will be our last day of sunset after 8:00 p.m.
Happenings in our community seem to be multiplying with new houses and additions going in, increasing our traffic. School has started back so don't forget to keep an eye open for the school busses and the littles loading and unloading from the bus stops.
I am going to highlight a business, new/old, in our community each week. This week, we will begin with our newest addition, well, it's an OldBusinesswithaNewLife: BeachBumsatLakeTexoma/ Enos Mall.
It has been nice to see new life going into this landmark business and watching the new keepers of the old work their new vision.
Toni and Dylan Thomas are the new owners. 'The Mall' has begun serving again. You will be able to dine in or carry out.
They will have breakfast, burgers,pizza,coneys,wraps, salads and wings. Their new menus will be available soon. They will offer live streaming games and other events soon.Tonisaidtheywillbegin withaliveoutdoormusicvenue during the cooler months, and you will be able to grab some Beach Bum/Enos Mall items, as well.
I hear there will be kayak rentals coming in 2024. Toni and Dylan were born and raised in Marshall County, and they have recgnized a strong need for our Enos Community to have a special place to go, relax and have a great meal.
