Wilma Joyce Anderson Privett Smith, 90, passed from this life on July 6, 2023, in Sulphur, Okla. Wilma was born onJuly24,1932toBobandRosaAnderson and lived in Texas for several years but spent most of her life in Oklahoma - most recently in Kingston, Okla.
Wilma was a long-time member of the Church of Christ and loved camping and . shing with family, quilting, baking, and listening to old country music. She had a variety of jobs during her life to include the State School of Oklahoma and Garvin County Sheriff's of. ce. She also co-owned
and operated Jacks Pest Control and Wilma’s Café in Davis, Okla.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley L. Privett; parents Bob and Rosa Anderson; sisters, Marie Oller and husband John, Edwina Bristol and husband Ed, Norma Temple, and Beth Frizell and husband Bob; brothers, Robert Daulton Anderson, David Anderson, Don Anderson, Clois Anderson and wife Linda; brother-in-law Jerry Durham; three nieces and one nephew.
Wilma is survived by her husband, Jack Smith of the home; son Robert Privett and wife Cheryl of Augusta, Kans.; daughters, Celina Chambers of Sulphur, and Vickie Foster of Blanchard; sister, Rebecca Bass and husband Lindel of Oklahoma City; brother, Larry Anderson and wife Libby of Pernell, Okla.; grandsons, Shaun Chambers and wife Marika of Edmond, Okla., Phillip Foster and wife Angela of Blanchard, Okla., Robbie Privett and wife Leah of Augusta, Kans., Randal Fuller and wife Rhiannon of Newton, Kans., DeWayne Fuller of Benton, Kans., Daniel Fuller of Platt City, Mo.; granddaughter, Lisa Clapp and husband Colby of Winnsboro, Texas and 18 great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces.
Wilma spent the last year of her life living at the Artesian Nursing Center in Sulphur, Okla. where she acquired many other extended family members. She loved her caregivers and called them “her girls”. She left this earth surrounded by love and will be missed by many.
