Woody Ford, Employee and Experience make a difference

When looking for a car dealership that has a good track record, look no further than Woody Ford in Madill, Okla. They are currently number one in overall sales for the state and received the President’s Award for 2020. In the month of March, they broke a record selling seventy-four new vehicles, being number one in the select region, and placed number fifteen in the entire nation.

Brian Butler said he knows that experience means everything when it comes to the success of any type of business. He was a general manager, along with other many roles, while working at Bob Moore in Oklahoma City.

He first learned about Woody Ford when he purchased a lake house at Bridgeview on Lake Texoma. After keeping in contact with them for about a year and half he took over February 1, 2017. Since that time, he has made some changes such as free oil changes for life for customers that purchase a vehicle through them, expanding their space and inventory, and the number of sales made yearly. In 2016, the year prior to him taking over, a mere fifty cars were sold for the year. Last year alone, eighteen hundred new vehicles were sold.

He said his team’s commitment and drive is what sets them apart from other car lots.

“Our people and commitment to our customers,” Butler said. “They are the gasoline in the Woody engine.”

He shared how they have daily and weekly meetings so they can continue to be better. They work things such as customer service, housekeeping, sales, orders, and inventory.

Butler said he feels that investing in the community is a great way to give back to those who have helped support the business. Since moving to the area after taking the job at Woody Ford, he has supported the community in several ways.

He has sponsored youth sports teams and individuals, donated to different events and organizations, offered services to those in need, and donated a portion of sales to charity. He recently partnered with a charity called Ally’s House that financially assists families with kids battling cancer and has plans in the works to start sponsoring kids battling cancer to help allow them to attend a summer camp.

He said he takes pride in his employees and said he feels that if you take care of them it pays in hopes of keeping them. His staff has definitely grown since he first took over and continues to grow.

The staff at Woody Ford are approachable and friendly employees who have a considerable experience level in selling vehicles and are ready and willing to answer any sort of questions while assisting you throughout the car purchasing process.
