Kingston High School sophomore Ella Weaver is making her mark in the equestrian world. Weaver and her horse, SURELY A PLATINUM, recently made their AQHA/NSBA debut at the Tulsa Expo Center. On August 7, the pair captured first place in Level 1 Youth Hunter Under Saddle at the NSBA Show Your Colors event.
Building on that success, Weaver and SURELY A PLATINUM advanced to their first-ever NSBA World Show the following week. Competingagainstsomeofthe top youth ridersand horses in the country, the team earned a Top 10 finish in Novice Youth Hunter Under Saddle. The NSBA World Show is recognized as one of the most prestigious competitions in the equine industry, making this achievement especially notable for such a young team.
Weaver rides under the guidance of respected trainer Scott Suggs. Outside the arena, she demonstrates strong leadership as a student at Kingston High School, where she currently serves as FFA President and FCCLA SE1 District President.
Her recent accomplishments highlight not only her dedication to the sport, but also the support of her school, community, and agricultural background as she continues to pursue her goals on the national stage.
