On December 9, the Marshall County OK Democrat group held their monthly meeting. This meeting had a special guest to speak to the members.
US Sentate candidate N'Kiyla Jasmine Thomas spoke to members and answered their questions.
Thomas informed guests just what her platform entails. She said Oklahoma children deserve better education and Oklahoma families deserve accessible healthcare.Thomas also spoke about how veterans deserve respect and real support.
One of her platforms that is very dear to her heart is the LGBTQIA+ community because she said she has watched her gay mother fight for equal rights.
She also said that farmers and ranchers deserve real leadership.
After speaking, Thomas answered many of the residents' questions. The group has Troy Green, anotherUSSenatecandidate slotted to speak to them next.
