For their Bronze award, the Junior Girl Scouts of Marshall County Troop 3439 worked on creating memorable gifts for Sara’s Project. The gifts include blankets, coloring supplies, combs, backpacks and toys.

They assembled these items and delivered them on September 29, 2025.

Sara’s Project is an organization for helping children in times of crisis. Sara’s project originally started in 1991 as a crisis management group to assist children in dealing with difficult experiences.

It has since grown into a childrens advocacy center where children can come and talk to a specially trained investigator, safely and comfortably, about possible abuse or crimes they may have witnessed.

During an investigation, children are broughtto Sara’s Project for interviews and health assessments. Sara’s Project is wholly dependant upon community donations and their support in order to continue their work.

Sara’s Project serves the communities of Marshall, Love, Carter, Johnston and Murray counties. For anyone who would like to learn more about Sara’s Project and how to help, please visit https:// sarasprojectok.org/.
