A call to the Marshall County Jail about a possible theft landed a local man in jail. On October 2, 2021, the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office received a tip about a possibe theft at a residence on Tipi Road.
Through their investigation, deputies were able to get a search warrant for the residence. Once officers gained entry into the residence, they found six fully mature marijuana plants along with marijuana that was packaged and was for sale.
Officers questioned Dustin Davis, a 43-year-old male from Kingston, to make sure he did not have a medical marijuana license. Davis informed the officers that he had no such credentials.
Davis was arrested and booked into the Marshall County Jail for Cultivation of CDS and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. No Oklahoma priors were found in an online search, however, he is also facing charges for two charges of Obtaining Food Stamps by Fraud.
Marshall County Sheriff Donald Yow commended the officers deputies Jacob Stafford, Micah Current, and Noah Conway and the Madill Police Department for their exceptional job.
