ThefamousTFDAuxiliary Mexican Pile-On is planned for June 3, 2023, 4:30 p.m. till 7 p.m. The menu will consist of chips, meat, beans, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, sour cream, picante sauce, jalapeños, homemade desserts, ice tea and water. $8 donation for adults and $4 for 10 and under.
The Texoma Fire District Board of Directors meets the first Thursday of the Month at the Training/Community Center located at 10978 Parkview at 6:30 p.m. The next meeting will be June 1, 2023. All are welcome to attend.
The Exercise/Stretching classes are on Monday and Wednesday at 10 a.m. Cards/ Games are on the second and fourth Tuesday at 12:40 p.m. Auxiliary members are welcome to join in the fun.
For anybody interested in renting the Texoma Community Building, contact Gayla Freeman at 580-565-4043. She will return the call as a soon as possible. The cost is $75 per day. Prospective renters must be a member of the Texoma Fire District to rent the building.
The Lighthouse Methodist Church located at 4923 Alberta Creek Road provides an evening meal from 5 p.m. to6p.m.TheLighthouseKids Program for grade school children consisting of Bible stories, crafts and games is held each Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. prior to the meal.
Vacation Bible School will occur at Kingston Methodist Church, 100 N Willis Street on June 12-16, 2023 from 9 a.m. to noon. A light breakfast and lunch will be provided. The agees are from Pre K to fifth grade. Children will need to be preregistered by calling (580) 564-3051, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to noon.
Lighthouse Methodist area children can call 580564-9733 and for provided transportation to and from the Kingston Church with signed permission.
