TFD: Pile on a success

TheladiesAuxiliarywould like to thank the community for another very successful Mexican Pile On.

On May 19, 2025, the Auxiliary meeting was called to order at 1:30 p.m. There were 19 members present.

Everyone recited the PledgeofAlligence.Theguest speakerwasDonnaBearden, Co-chair of the Kingston Place Making Committee.

The committee was created about 2-1/2 years ago by a group of community members and local business owners. The committee has three goals: to enhance the town's appearance, provide localeventsandpromotelocal businesses.

The students of Kingston ISD were happy to get involved, as the art class painted the sidewalk in front of Greg's Rockin Goat Coffee shop. The shop class built all the planter boxes for flowers throughout Kingston.

Some of the events they are responsible for are Spring Fest, Foam party, the Boat Show and Main Street Music Fest. Currently, they are working with the town of Kingston to create a large park with playground equipment and fun activities.

Let's all wish them luck as this would be a great addition to the town.

The next Auxiliary meeting will be on Monday June 16, 2025, at 1:30 p.m. with fellowship at 1 p.m. prior to the meeting.

The exercise/stretching classes are every Monday and Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. Card games are held on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month at 12:00 p.m.
