The Texoma Fire Department needs men and women volunteer firefighters. The candidates must be at least 18 years old and must be able to pass a background check. For anybody interested, please contact Todd Cissell.
Just a reminder it is cold and flu season. Supplies of cold and flu medicine fly off the shelves. So even if your not at need at this moment, you should check the stores that have stock and grab a bottle or package while they have in stock. Just speaking from experience.
Remember, the monthly TVFD Auxiliary meetings are the 3rd Monday of the month. The next meeting will be February 17 at 1:30 p.m. Classes are held every Monday and Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. Card games are on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays at 12:00 p.m. All Auxiliary members are welcome to join. For anybody interested in renting the Texoma Community Center building for a party or family gathering, please contact Judy Jefferies at 580565-1400. Calls are monitored twice a week so please allow plenty of time for the event.
The cost is $75.00 per day, and can only be rented by members of the Fire District. The building capacity is 158.
