The Texoma Fire District Ladies Auxiliary hosted an appreciation dinner for the TFD volunteer firefighters. It was held at Gecko’s Grill, and 27 firefighters and their families attended. Along with dinner, each firefighter received a Certificate of Appreciation and a gift of three personalized face masks. Everyone had a wonderful time eating and visiting.

Be sure to keep an eye out for snakes as they tend to come out in warmer weather.

If you are interested in joining the Texoma Volunteer Fire Department, contact Chief Todd Cissell at (580) 565-4491. You can also pickup an application from the mailbox at the station, fill it out and return to the station. Chief Cissell will contact you. Everyone is welcome, so consider joining! The fire department truly needs your support.

Texoma Fire District Ladies Auxiliary activities have been canceled until further notice. There are still quit a few ladies that don’t feel comfortable in groups.

Lighthouse United Methodist Church Teens meet on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m., dinner is served at 6:00 p.m. All teenagers in the area are welcome to attend.
