TFD: Bread

Texoma Fire Dept. would like to thank Deanna Foreman from Okie Dokie Brands for being the guest speaker at the meeting. Foreman was a long haul truck driver, due to health issues she had to stop.

This is how she started makingsourdoughbreadand selling it at Merry Meadows farm. However, FedEx has talked her into coming back and unfortunately, she will be closing her Okie Dokie breads.

She brought the last bread to be made. TFD wishes her all the luck in the world getting back on the road.

Now that Foreman is leaving Merry Meadows farm. Tiffany Hurn with Rooster Creek County Mercantile will be be selling her breads outatMerryMeadowsFarm. The rumor is it is delicious.

Hurn, her husband and their baby came to introduce themselves, and told attendees little bit about their small business. They are also involved in a lot of pop up events in and around Marshall County.

Please pray for the family wholosttheirhomeonFriday July 25, and the man and women who were struck by lightning on Saturday July 26 on Party Island.
