It's that time of year. Although we have them all year round , with the weather being cooler the deer are much more active.
Please be careful while driving. More accidents with deer occur in October and November according to Department of Motor Vehicles.
Again, please be mindful of children as Halloween approaches there are events all month.
The volunteer Firefighter Roadside Cleanup is November 1, 2025, at 8 a.m. The ladies Auxiliary meeting will be held October 20, 2025 at 1:30 p.m. with a fellowship at 1 p.m. prior to the meeting.
The exercise/stretching classes are every Monday and Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. Card games are held on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month at 12:00 p.m.
For anyone needing to rent the Texoma Community Center building for a party or family gathering place contact Judy Jeffreys at 405-684-1636. Calls are monitored twice a week so please allow plenty of time for your event.
The cost is $75 per day and can only be rented by members of the Fire District. The building capacity is 158.
