The 2024 Oklahoma Indian Relay Championship is a Native American event that features horesmenship and athleticism. It features six teams of 24 Warrior athletes and18horses.Theyrace around the track like a relay team, they just swap animals instead of a baton.
The event also has traditional Native American dancers. The Horse Nations Indian Relay Council boasts teams from seven different Nations. Each team consists of one rider, one mugger, three horses and two holders.
The event will be held in ArdmoreatBuck'sRacetrack at 13605 Memorial Road in Ardmore. The dates for the event are from October 18 through October 20.
