The Oil Mill Hill tournament is held every year on East Drew Street on the ‘Hill’. History behind the 4th of July weekend event started with just a few individuals, all originally from Madill.

Wade Watson, Charles Hastings, Letha Qualls, Charlie Byars, Lonnie “Q” Qualls, Betty Menifee are just a few who were part of the original crew. The tradition has since continued every 4th of July weekend for the past 34 years and it includes community Bar-B-Q, hamburger, hotdogs and domino tournament. The participants in the tournament come

The participants in the tournament come from all around Oklahoma and Texas. Most are originally from Madill who are in town for the holiday weekend. Oil Mill Hill encourages others in Marshall County to come out next year and join in on the fun.
