MC Election Board member retires after four terms

Patricia Bell, a long-time member of the Marshall County Election Board, retired from her post on April 30.Bellwasservingherfourth term on the Marshall County Election Board and the Oklahoma State Election Board.

Bell was sworn into her first term of office in 2011, and has served four terms. She said her terms have been a pleasure.

'I have enjoyed working on the Election Board, and it has been an honor serving my Community, State and Nation as Vice Chairman and as Chairman for the last several years on the Election Board,' she said.

Bell plans on to continue to contribute and volunteer, even though she's retiring.

'I plan to stay active in helping in our County, State and Nation in any way I can,' she said. 'I am just Retiring from this position on the Board after Serving four terms.'

The board will appoint somebody soon to take Bell's place on the board.
