The Madill Record staff attended the Annual Oklahoma Press Association convention and walked away with several Better Newspsaper Awards. Charles White took home first place in Feature Story, second place in News Story, Sports Story, In-Depth Reporting and Column Writing. He also placed third in News Story.
Shalene White won two awards. She took second place in Feature Story and second place in Front Page Design.
