A Madill police seargeant is being hailed a hero after walking through fire to save a stranded motorist. Officer JT Moore responded to a vehicle wreck on Saturday morning.

When he arrived, the car was engulfed in flames. So, Moore grabbed a fire extinguisher to put the flames out.

However, upon closser inspection, Moore had to change tactics. As he neared the burning car, he noticed there was a man still in the vehicle in the flames.

Moore sprung into action and began pulling the man from the car. Moore didn't stop until the man was pulled to safety.
