CALLING ALL WILDCATS

Everybody loves a good parade. The Madill Alumni Association has partnered with Madill Public Schools to make this year’s football homecoming parade on Friday September 22, epic. Don’t miss out on the fun.

The Alumni Association is sponsoring a Float Contest. There are two ways to get involved - enter a float in the parade or help the kids build their floats.

Prizes will be awarded in two categories The first category consists of the freshmen through senior classes only. The second category is everyone else.

While anyone can participate in the parade, to be eligible for the contest there are a few rules. Email the name of the organization that is entering along with a description of the entry to madillhsalumni@gmail.com before 6 p.m. on Sunday, September 17. Use a trailer (four feet minimum), golf cart or UTV. The float must follow the parade theme which is games.

The float must have identifying markers for the organization on it. Be sure to reference the opposing team, just don’t be offensive, that could get the float disqualified and removed from the parade. The float must welcome alumni.Mostimportant rule is to have fun.

The Alumni Association is calling on all Madill Alums, parents of high school student oranyadultwholovethe Wildcats to help supervise thestudentsastheyassemble their floats. Students will be working on their floats after school September 18 through September 21.
