Paula Clark of 4937 Blue Jay Lane called the Marshall County Sheriff's Office on March 21, 2021 at approximately 6:25 p.m. She reported that Keith Johnson had been shot in the abdomen. Once officers arrived on scene, they detained Clark and transported Johnson to a hospital in North Texas by helicopter.
Law officials processed the crime scene and arrested Clark, a 50-year-old female from Kingston for Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon. An online search found one prior for Clark for a DUI – Drugs.
In the press release, Marshall County Sheriff Donald Yow said the investigation found the shooting occurred as a result of an argument between Clark and Johnson. They also believe that alcohol was a factor in the incident.
***BREAKING NEWS***
On March 21, 2021 at approximately 6:25 p.m., Marshall County officers were dispatched to a residence in the 4900 block of Blue Jay Lane in response to a man who had been shot.
Once officers arrived on scene, and started investigating, they found a man suffering from a gun shot wound. He was flown to a Texas hospital for treatment.
A female on the scene was arrested for Assault and Battery with a deadly weapon.
The Marshall County Sheriff's Office said in a press release that this is an ongoing investigation and more information will be available once the investigation is concluded.
