A local man is facing charges after allegedly stabbing anotherman.OnAugust 2, Marshall County deputies were dispatched to a residence in response to a male subject lying in the roadway.
When officers arrived on scene, they found a mail who had been stabbed. After they called the Marshall County Ambulance Service and had the victim transported to the hospital, they begin working the scene.
Deputiesinterviewedmultiple witnesses who named Thomas as the suspect who was responsible for the stabbing. Unfortunately,Thomas fled the scene right after the stabbing.
Deputies began searching for Thomas, but were not lucky. They realized that the incident was isolated and nobody else was in danger.
Deputies continued to search for Thomas, but to no avail. On August 3, the MCSO received some tips that Thomas returned to the crime scene.
Deputies were quick to respond andfoundThomasand apprehended him without any further incident. He was transported to the MC Correction Center and booked to face charges for Domestic Abuse/Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon and Domestic Abuse/Assault and Battery.
Thomas, a 41-year-old male from Madill, also has priors for DUI, Possession of Marijuana, Transporting an Open Container, Taking/ Receiving a Stolen Credit Card, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Threatening to Perform Acts of Violence, Possession of CDS and Attempt to Escape from Arrest or Detention.
