The Madill Library will be hosting the Brown family authors, Carolyn Brown, her husband Charles C. Brown and their son Charles Lemar Brown on Saturday September 16 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the library meeting room. This is a come and go event, so stop by and see all the books they will have available.

Carolyn Brown is a New York Times and USA Today bestselling author. She writes contemporary romance, historical romance, cowboy romance and women’s fiction books.

Shehaswrittenmorethan 100novels,eightnovellasand has contributed to multiple anthologies. She was born in Texas and raised in Southern Oklahoma. Today, Carolyn and her husband, author Charles C. Brown make their home in Davis, Okla.

Charles C. Brown, a historian and writer, is a high school graduate of Mt. Union, Penn, and a college graduate of Southeastern Oklahoma State University in Durant, Okla. He taught high school English in three states, Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas, before he retired in 2008.

He served three years in the Army, spending most of that time in Germany. Once retired from teaching, he started writing murder mystery fiction. He is the author of the Gray Ballard mysteries.

Charles Lemar Brown, is a retired Marietta High School science teacher, who now spends much of his time writing and traveling. He is also an avid photographer whose photographs have been sold around the world.

He lives in rural Love County, Okla. He is a multitalented writer, who weaves stories of crime and humor, with equal finesse and captures moments through a camera lens.

Drawing on a love of storytelling, Charles has intricate plots that keep readers on the edge of their seats while simultaneously tickling their funny bones.
