KHS hosts Senior Scholarship Awards Ceremony

Kingston High School held its Senior Scholarship Awards Ceremony on May 16, 2022. Over 20 different scholarships were handed out to the 2022 senior class. The scholarships all ranged from $250 dollars to one student receiving a $154,000 scholarship.

This year also was the first time the Britny Henderson Memorial Scholarship was awarded, and Brady Brister was the recipient of this scholarship. Brady is the brother of Connor Brister who was in a relationship with Henderson before she passed away. He expressed his gratitude and what winning the scholarship meant to him.

“It is a huge honor to win her memorial scholarship,” said Brady. “She will always be looking over me and I hope she is proud of me.”
