Interim Police Chief Donny Raley promoted to chief

On October 10, the Madill Police Department, in conjunctionf with the City of Madill, announced that Donny Raley was promoted to the new Chief of Police for Madill. Raley had been the interim police chief since Chief Steven Ray retired in January.

Raley began his career with the Madill Police Department as a reserve officer in 1987. He became a fully certified offcer in 2005.

Raley has 36 years experience in law enforcement. He has served in mulitple roles in the law enforcement world.

Raley said his main goal is to protect and sercve the community. He also said he plans for the department to be more involved in the community, and to get the department back to being fully staffed.
