Historical Society to host Historian

The Marshall County Genealogical and Historical Society is proud to present the “Town of the Helen Hills.” It is a presentation by Gary Henry and will encompass a descriptive and illustrated history of Aylesworth, Kingston, Madill and Woodville. The event will be held at the Marshall County Expo Center on August 17 at 10:00 a.m.

Aylesworth was a community in Marshall County. It had an operational post office from 1903 to 1943. The majority of the community is currently underneath Lake Texoma. Woodville was also a community that is now underneath Lake Texoma. Join Henry on August 17 at the Marshall County Expo Center to learn all about the history of Kingston, Madill and the two towns that was taken over by Lake Texoma.
