Gracie’s Gifts’ slogan states that they are a gift shop that has “something for everyone.” Located east of the square in Madill, customers can find a variety of collectables, jewelry, bric-abrac, novelty items, incense, decorative throws, children’s clothes,babyitemsandmuch more. The store inventory is ever-changing and always interesting with 80% new items and some unique items that are thrifted, as well.
The owner, Christy Massingill, is a proud resident of Marshall County and has lived here for the majority of her life. She has been happily married for 33 years, has four children and two grandchildren.
She works full time at the Oakland Grocery convenient store where she has been employed since 1998. She dedicates her spare time to building her retail business and enjoying her family.
She said that over the years, her love for entrepreneurship has led her to be involved in the retail business by selling an array of goods at various events and flea markets. Now, with the support of her family, friends and the community, she has settled into a location.
She said she is proud to build her small business. Gracie’s Gift Shop is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., seven days a week thus showing just how dedicated she is to her business and the customers of the community.
