TISHOMINGO- Family Health Center of Southern Oklahoma is proud to celebrate Phil Biddy for his 50 years of pharmacy service. National Pharmacy Week is October 18-24th, a time to honor the pharmacy industry for their service to our communities.

Biddy is a 1970 graduate of Oklahoma University Pharmacy school. Just after completing his required internship he was served with his Vietnam draft documents to serve in the United States Army. He began his service as a pharmacist in a M.A.S.H. 3rd surgical hospital unit in the Mekong River, the cities of Can Tho, Binh Tuy and Saigon Vietnam. Upon his return to the states he made his home in Oklahoma and married his sweetheart Ann in 1975. They have 2 children, Lauren and Brent.

Biddy has been an Oklahoma pharmacist for just over 50 years. He and his wife Ann owned their own drugstore for ten of those years. Phil does not have plans to retire anytime soon, however he enjoys traveling with family and vacationing in the mountains of Angel Fire New Mexico.

Joe Burns PhD, Director of Pharmacy states, “Phil Biddy has not only served the US Army in our profession but the communities of Tulsa, Seminole, Wewoka, Coalgate and Tishomingo Oklahoma for the past 50 years. The pharmacy team and I are honored to work alongside Phil, especially during these trying times. He’s a great person that’s dedicated to our patients and the FHCSO clinics.”
