The 69th Annual Madill FFA Rodeo was held on April 8 and 9, 2022, at the Madill Roundup Club Arena. The two night event saw Landon Melton and Josh Schneider win the FFA Chute Doggin’ buckles with a time of just over two seconds.
A new event was added to give FFA members an opportunity to compete. The FFA Calf Scramble had students work in pairs to catch and halter a calf.
Friday nights Calf scramble winners were Holden McGahey and Bridger Lott and Saturday night’s winning team was Steven Sisco and Josh Schneider.
The highlight of Saturday night was the recognition of rodeo royalty and crowning of the 2022 Madill FFA Rodeo Queen. Royalty represented was past Queen Peyton Arnold, as well as 2022 can didates Eeliah Love-Faucett and Maddie Miller, both current members of the Madill FFA Chapter. Miller received this year’s Rodeo Queen honors, selling over $9700.00 in rodeo tickets.
