Kim said her journey into home health care is fueled by a lifelong passion for serving others. Growing up in Marshall County, she witnessed the evolving needs of her community, particularly as individuals faced the challenges of aging and health issues.

The desire to help those struggling with their independence and joy inspired her to create a home health agencythatprovidescompassionate care in the comfort of patients’ homes.

“By delivering healthcare in the home, I knew there was a way to alleviate some of that pain for both patients and their families,” she explained.

MCHH stands out as the sole locally owned and independent agency in Marshall County, offering a comprehensive range of services. These include skilled nursing, physical and occupational therapies, home health aide services and sitter services.

The agency is certified by Medicare and Medicaid and holds a contract with the Veteran’s Administration, ensuring that they can provide quality care to those who need it most.

This personalized approach allows MCHH to tailor care to individual needs, ensuring that each patient receives the attention and support they deserve.

“It truly takes a village,” Kim said, highlighting the collaborative efforts within the community to provide additional resources such as food, clothing and companionship to those in need.

“Even when it is difficult, we are honored to shoulder the hard work,” she affirmed, emphasizing the value of their patients.

Kim said one of the most rewarding aspects of her work is the relationships she builds with her patients. She shared that many elderly individuals often feel overlooked.
