A building of hope opening soon in Ardmore

TheLighthouseBehavioral Wellness Center in Ardmore hosted an open house to show their newest location. Lighthouse purchased the Quinton Little building located on Commerce Street and merges its current three smaller locations into one place.

This location will be more accessible and visible for the community. This is especially important with Oklahoma rankingtopfivenationallyfor mental illness and substance abuse. The ability to find the light while lost in a sea of darkness is an evergrowing concern and Lighthouse is ready to aid in hope and healing with their dedication to clients and families.

The two-story 36,000 squarefootbuildingisnearing completion with carefully designed renovations and a parking lot expansion. The bright inviting colors are chosen to align with all the Lighthouse locations but each have special hand chosen artwork throughout that makes every location unique.

The lobbies, group rooms and individual councelor office areas have been thoughtfully designed to suit their clients’ specific needs and the needs of children. The location also boasts an inhouse lab and pharmacy, telehealth rooms and a community room.

The current 67 team members have a variety of offices, break rooms and work areas that have been planned in a way for them to obtain privacy or connection at any time on both the first and second floor. This was a dream brought together with the help and support of three local foundations; the Southern Oklahoma Memorial Foundation and the McCory Foundation, Westheimer Foundation, as well as the 1st National Bank & Trust of Ardmore.
